Teaching
and living in China is a very rewarding experience. I am able to grow as a teacher by teaching native English
speakers and EAL speakers from around the world. To be able to work in such a culturally diverse environment has been
enriching and educational. The transition from living in Canada to China was surprisingly smooth and
easy. Co-workers provide support and assistance which helps to make the changeover
less stressful. China is not lacking in amenities we Canadians rely on so that
adds to its appeal! I continue to be grateful for this opportunity and am happy
I chose this path.
